These gasket sheets are made from Soft Silicone rubber. Silicone withstands both high and low temperatures and is more resilient than other rubber materials. Silicone has excellent weathering properties and also maintains its shape over longer periods of time than other rubber materials. Silicone also offers good resistance to ozone. This soft durometer rubber has excellent conformability.
