Making your own butterfly template is not that hard, but it has a lot of drawbacks. Any deviation in the template is magnified in the cut, and most materials are easily damaged by the router guide bushing making more imperfections as you use your template. The Jasper® Butterfly Inlay Template is made from tough, thick acrylic for longevity and perfect fitting inlays. The template features six undercuts on the outside edges to make removing the template from your workpiece easy. Seven different size butterfly inlays from 1" x 1-11/16" to 2-7/16" x 3-3/4" cover almost any application.
