To ensure that the switch delivers at its optimum, the Cisco N5596-ACC-KIT Network Accessory Kit has been developed which provides all the accessories that are necessary to mount the switch on the racking system. The accessory kit includes two rack rails. They are constructed from high quality steel metal and best suited to install and secure electronic equipment within a server rack or equipment cabinet. These rails provide a framework for mounting devices such as servers, switches, storage arrays, and other networking equipment in a standardized and organized manner. The network accessory kit further includes 2 rack mount brackets and 2 rack mount guides. The rack mounts and rack mount guides are installed on the switch. The rack mount guides are aligned on either side of the switch along with the brackets which are then slided onto the slider rails. This way the switch can be placed safely into the rack.
