This Neo-Pure Pressure Regulator w/ Dual Check Valve 3/8" QC, 80 PSI is designed for high pressure installations to protect water filtration devices by limiting water pressure and reducing water hammer. This prevents back flow water that could cause damage to your pump or back flow into your tank. (100 PSI), opening and closing the valve three times to ensure it meets the required operating standard. *Pressure regulated compressed air can also be used if needed. When the inlet pressure is equal to or lower than the set pressure of the pressure regulator (PSI), or when the pressure difference between them is too small, the internal valve body may not be fully pressurized, preventing the complete discharge of air from the pipeline.
