To ensure that the router functions at its optimum, the Cisco ASR 1001-X 19” rack-mount kit has been developed which mounts it in the standard 19-inch equipment rack. The rack kit is made up of high-quality chrome steel and includes 2 bracket ears. These bracket ears are mounted on the switch using the screws provided in the kit and have two holes that are used to then screw the switch into the rack. The flat head screws are also included that are used to secure the router.
