The 2RU Recessed Rack Adapter is designed to mount standard 19-inch rack equipment while providing additional setback within the rack enclosure. By recessing equipment from the front mounting plane, it offers extra protection for switches, patch panels, and other rack-mounted devices, while improving cable management and clearance for rack doors.
