Mounting Bracket | 2-Gang Low Voltage Mount Bracket for Cable Plate | Black | New Electronics Low Voltage Mounting Brackets are designed to mount cable plates flush against the wall. These plates are available in 1-gang and 2-gang options and will fit DataComms entire line of 1- and 2-gang low voltage cable plates. Features: Adjusts to fit 1/4 to 1.00 thick drywall Mounting wings fasten against the back of the drywall as you tighten Quick and easy to install for mounting low voltage cable plates Horizontal or vertical mounting Installation Guide: Hold the low voltage mounting bracket with the face against the wall in your desired location. Use pencil and trace the two flat sides of the bracket. Rotate the bracket 180º, aligning start and end points from your first mark and repeat previous step. Cut along the traced line with a drywall saw or utility knife. Insert low voltage mounting bracket into opening. Tighten down each of the screws. As the wings tighten they will catch the back of the drywall, securing the plate in place. Install any standard low voltage single or dual gang wall plate to the bracket.
