The HPE Aruba JH231A is a 40Gbps QSFP+ SR4 optical transceiver designed for 40GBASE-SR4 Ethernet over multi-mode fiber (MMF). Featuring an MPO-12 connector and operating at an 850nm wavelength, it provides high-performance 40GbE connectivity for short-range data center and enterprise network applications, supporting distances up to 150 meters over OM4 fiber. The hot-swappable QSFP+ form factor enables fast deployment and replacement without disrupting network operations, while Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides visibility into optical parameters for improved network reliability.
