The switch is designed to increase network performance and productivity through the utilization of the highest port density of 10/100/1000-Mbps in a compact 1 rack unit (RU) form factor. The Cisco RCKMNT-1RU-2948G rack mount is a purpose-built rackmount designed to mount the Cisco Catalyst 2948G-GE-TX switch into either a 19", 23", or 24" equipment rack depending on the requirement of the user to attach the bracket to the mounting rack. The rack mount kit for the Cisco 2948G-GE-TX switch includes the necessary hardware which includes two rack mount brackets and all the necessary screws required to securely mount the switch in the equipment rack.
