Description
The Rusco Hot Water Spin-Down Filter System is designed to handle water temperatures up to 200°F. It features a glass-filled polypropylene head with stainless steel reinforced female inlet/outlet threads for added durability. The stainless steel screen and heat- and chemical-resistant clear cover ensure reliable performance in demanding hot water applications. Using centrifugal separation technology, the system removes particulates that are visible through the clear housing. The stainless steel screen is reusable and easy to clean, providing long-term, low-maintenance operation. Applications: Capturing scale flakes from water heaters Hydronic heating systems Industrial heat exchangers Cooling tower make-up and evaporator water Domestic and commercial hot water systems Machine coolant and cutting fluids Spas and jacuzzis For scale prevention beyond filtration, the HydroBlend SC-605 Scale Control System helps reduce buildup in piping and water heaters and can assist in gradually reducing existing mineral scale.
