Description
Cisco Meraki MA-QSFP-40G-SR-BD is a 40GBASE-SR-BiDi QSFP+ optical transceiver module designed to provide high-speed 40Gbps Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF). Utilizing a duplex LC connector and bidirectional (BiDi) optical technology, it enables 40GbE transmission over existing duplex LC fiber infrastructure without requiring MPO cabling. The module supports transmission distances of up to 30 meters on OM2, 100 meters on OM3, and 150 meters on OM4/OM5 multimode fiber. It features Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and hot-swappable capability for simplified installation and maintenance. Compatible with Cisco Meraki switches and other Cisco platforms supporting 40GBASE-SR-BiDi QSFP+ optics, this transceiver is ideal for enterprise campus and data center deployments.
