The Omnipure K5540-JJ inline water filter is filled with an acid rinsed coconut shell granular activated carbon media. It reduces tastes and odor and reduces the amount of chlorine in the water. These filters can be use in several applications including an inline filter for a refrigerator, ice maker and a post filter for reverse osmosis system. This filter is a quick connect filter which makes it easy to install and reduces the chance of leaks.
