Description

The HPE Aruba JH233A (X142 40G QSFP+ MPO eSR4) is a high-performance 40Gbps QSFP+ optical transceiver engineered for high-speed Ethernet connectivity across enterprise campus, aggregation, and data center networks. Utilizing an MPO 12-fiber connector and operating at an 850nm wavelength, it supports multimode fiber (MMF) with transmission distances of up to 300 meters over OM3 fiber and 400 meters over OM4 fiber. The module employs 4×10Gbps NRZ optical lanes to deliver reliable 40GbE performance while remaining fully compliant with QSFP+ standards. Its hot-swappable design enables installation or replacement without interrupting network operation, while integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time diagnostics for optical power, temperature, and operating conditions. Designed for compatibility with supported Aruba and HPE networking switches, the JH233A delivers dependable, low-latency optical connectivity with a maximum power consumption of 1.5W, making it an excellent choice for high-density enterprise and data center deployments.
